One of the highlights of the year for Christ Embassy members is Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s LoveWorld International Music and Arts Awards (LIMA).
The 2022 edition took place on Sunday, November 27th and was watched live by LoveWorld congregants all over the world.
Like always, the award show was packed with musical and dance performances, and Pastor Chris Oyakhilome had several awards to hand out.
Before he did so, he welcomed the global congregation.
“Tonight, we have come together to celebrate the extraordinary work of our artists, singers in the ministry, musicians – particularly because of what they do that is of so much benefit to all of us in the ministry. Music that encourages… But most of all, music for the praise and adoration of our Lord Jesus Christ,” he said and added:
“This is where it makes a huge difference for which we are thankful, and we have the opportunity to give the kind of songs that God really wants from his Word to the saints of God around the world. Especially in these times, to change the course of saints, the course of Christian worship, knowing that if we can change that as the Lord wants us to and as we have begun to do, then so much more would take place for the glory of God.”
“Tonight, we are so grateful that the Lord has graciously given us so many of our brothers and sisters who work hard every day to make this dream come true. We have used their songs, we have enjoyed their music,” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome stated before the awards were given.
