Greenline Project Community Meeting
The Greenline project has wrapped up its research phase and this summer a number of community meetings are taking place. The first of these meetings was held at the Hollygrove Grower’s Market and Farm on June 2 in conjunction with an AARP neighborhood meeting, and the designers received much constructive and positive feedback. The project team has been introducing the research to the Hollygrove neighborhood and with the neighbors discussing ideas and steps for moving forward. The Greenline proposal seeks to make a neighborhood amenity out of a divisive infrastuctural corridor in the Hollygrove neighborhood. The design team is led by Judith Kinnard, FAIA and includes Michael Cohen, Zach Gong, and Ian O’Cain. Project partners include the National Endowment for the Arts, DesignCorps, the AARP, and the Carrollton Hollygrove CDC.
